About The Position

Under limited supervision, participates in the development and implementation of unit policies and procedures. Prepares operational analyses, reports to the Line Lead, and follows current procedures to monitor and improve the efficiency of operations. Employees must complete required hand-repetitive motions. Employees are required to learn every position in the line in order to rotate during the shift, this will include working in enclosed rooms and out.

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
  • Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packaging specifications are met.
  • Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docks.
  • Ensure all materials and products are properly closed to prevent leaking and meet the required specifications.
  • Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools.
  • Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
  • Place or pour products or materials into containers, using hand tools and equipment, or fill containers from spouts or chutes.
  • Ensure proper GMP is being followed – maintain a clean and organized area in production.
  • Responsible for coming to the line prepared with proper GMP attire.
  • Produce quality products - no mindless hand-moving.
  • Move materials for completed products and packages to established locations.
  • Utilize machinery in the best and proper way.
  • Break down unused components.
  • Responsible for cleaning the line after the run.
  • Bi-weekly cleanings.
  • Make sure proper components are being used.
  • Perform squeeze on test tubes to ensure the product is not leaking and meets the required specifications.
