About The Position
Inspects, grades, packages using both hands to maintain an even production flow of products according to marketing specifications on a rotation basis on production line's conveyor system, by performing the following duties.
Requirements
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, round, compute averages and percentages, and interpret bar graphs.
- MUST BE 18YRS OLD TO WORK FOR MONOGRAM APPETIZERS
Responsibilities
- Estimate weight of product visually.
- Verify count, look at, handle product, as required by its nature, to determine grade and identify substandard products
- Place rejected products and individual grades of products in designated piles, containers, or areas.
- Add supplemental product to bring original product into specifications.
- Reports major breakdowns or problems to the line operator
- Notify Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
- Assemble product according to customer specification
- Inspect and insert product at various positions along the line and discard poor product
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices
- Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as provided
- Must follow all plant food safety and person safety rules and procedures
- Perform other duties and assignments as required
- Observe products moving quickly on a conveyor system for up to 3 1/2 hours at one time
