About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the flow of finished product from the Retorts and/or Hydro to the packing area. The Line Unloader verifies machine setup, reviews the production schedule, and brings full retort baskets for unloading. Key duties include inspecting finished product for quality (image, odor, color, chunks, sticking to the can), pulling samples for the lab and supervisors, identifying hold tags and change-overs, and removing defected products (dented, leaking, no codes, illegible codes).
