About The Position

Calspan’s Fixed Base Operator (FBO) at Niagara Falls International Airport is seeking a Line Technician to join their ground crew. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, focusing on supporting flight readiness and customer satisfaction. The Line Technician will perform a wide range of services for aircraft, pilots, and passengers, including marshalling, towing, fueling, deicing aircraft, and providing shuttle services to ensure smooth flight operations.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License
Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
Availability to work weekends, weekdays, overtime and holidays as needed to maintain coverage for 24/7 FBO operation
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff and managers
Reading, writing, math and communication skills

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma/GED
Minimum 1+ years experience in a related discipline or;
A combination of education and experience equivalent to above

Responsibilities

Knowledge of various aircraft servicing (fuel, de-ice, tow) procedures
Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations and all company policies, including (but not limited to) maintaining the secure area of the airport, FBO and terminal areas.
Coordinate with customer service to ensure all customer needs are met in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
Load and unload passengers, crews, baggage, and cargo as needed.
Ability to effectively present and communicate information with customers, clients or other employees within the organization.
Ability to safely drive all types of servicing vehicles from gas trucks, belt loaders, forklifts and other service vehicles.
Successfully complete all training as deemed appropriate by Line Managers and/or General Manager.
