Are you an expert troubleshooter and mechanical leader looking to optimize high-speed automation in the cosmetics industry? We are seeking a seasoned Line Technician IV / Line Mechanic to apply advanced mechanical knowledge and skill to troubleshoot, set up, and optimize technology operations across our production lines. Reporting to the Production Supervisor or Department Manager, you will play a critical role in driving efficiency, resolving complex technical downtime, advancing continuous improvement, and mentoring junior technicians and mechanics.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a high-volume, machine-paced manufacturing environment as a line mechanic or senior technician.
  • Industrial Maintenance Certificate, Mechatronics Technology Certificate, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting, equipment setup, preventive maintenance, Lean Manufacturing, cGMP, and 5S standards.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Ability to rotate shifts as needed.
  • Basic math proficiency.
  • Ability to read micrometers and rulers.
  • Practical application of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, clear verbal communication, and team leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, adjust process parameters, and endorse line clearances for four or more technologies (SMT, Rmatic, Deco, Packing, Liquid, etc.).
  • Utilize Maintenance Connection software for preventive maintenance schedules and downtime reporting.
  • Apply advanced mechanical troubleshooting techniques to minimize production downtime.
  • Train, guide, and mentor Line Technicians and Line Mechanics (Levels 1–3) on safety protocols, quality standards, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workplace adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practice, 5S, and eco-friendly standards.
  • Assist with implementing safety initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Rotate across production shifts as needed and perform other operational duties as assigned.
