About The Position

Flagstone Foods is hiring a Line Support I to assist with executing production schedules at rated throughput while meeting quality, safety, cost, and delivery standards. The position supports production lines by monitoring product quality, adjusting and troubleshooting equipment, performing quality checks, handling finished products and packaging materials, and maintaining sanitation and housekeeping standards. The role is based in Robersonville, North Carolina, and reports to the Production Supervisor. The first shift begins at 6:00 a.m., with an end time of 5:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Food manufacturing experience is required.
• Ability to effectively communicate with peers and leadership.
• Ability to think quickly and handle frequent change.
• Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on business need.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently and be mobile.
• Ability to use a computer and keyboard.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, stretch, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry 25 to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in noise levels requiring hearing protection.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality on one or more machines.
• Adjust equipment to meet product specifications.
• Perform quality checks and inspect products, materials, and ingredients within the area of responsibility.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report quality, equipment, and ingredient issues to management.
• Perform other tasks involved with production lines and other job-related duties as assigned.
• Learn new equipment and accept additional roles.
• Place finished-product containers into cartons, boxes, and trays.
• Assemble cartons, trays, and boxes.
• Follow quality and client specifications for product production and handling.
• Maintain housekeeping and sanitation in and around work areas.
• Adhere to and support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.
• Perform tasks in accordance with safety standards and use required equipment.
