Requirements

  • Permanently detect safety risks and react.
  • Apply Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedure with rigor.
  • Ensure respect of all standards in terms of environment, health, and safety risks prevention compliant with the HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) system.
  • Manage applicable sections of Safety, Quality & Environment site’s Policy.
  • Ensure respect of all safety rules and PPE usage during all interventions on processes.
  • Fill QRAP board on safety issues and alert leader or supervisor.
  • Lead safety conformity actions on production equipment.
  • Lead procedures respect from any workshop operator (especially on safety and quality rules).

  • Experience with 2nd Shift operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure part production in respect to safety, quality, schedule, cost, and volume.
  • Ensure line setting and tuning to respect defined quality standards, immediately followed by productivity.
  • Ensure Ok Start for production lines and open QRAP when needed.
  • Replace resources and operators when needed.
  • Prepare and participate in Changeovers to reduce changeover time.
  • Act to avoid production disruption due to organizational malfunctions.
  • Ensure respect of all quality standards to guarantee conformity of products and services.
  • Fill QRAP board with quality or process concerns and follow scrap evolution (5 hours).
  • Apply 5 Why methodology for problem-solving.
  • Control production line status and react accordingly when maintenance is required.
  • Analyze defects or breakdowns and lead corrective actions; escalate in case of need.
  • Ensure first and second-level maintenance, anticipate maintenance interventions, and alert leaders or supervisors when production deviates.
  • Support breakdown maintenance resources.
  • Fill maintenance intervention requests.
  • Realize equipment and process verification prior to start-up.
  • Apply ERIM, make it run, and detect and solve red tags.
  • Inform leader or supervisor about technical or quality deviations.
  • Welcome and train new comers (setters) using the training schedule (Work instruction).
  • Systematically alert the electrical or mechanical maintenance department in case of breakdown.
  • Ensure and maintain 5S in the assigned area.
  • Create and realize Improvement Proposals to improve safety, working conditions, quality, and productivity.
  • Use and improve reaction modes in the assigned area.
