About The Position

As a Line & Ramp Lead, you are responsible for supporting daily shift operations, meeting customer service expectations, and ensuring base requirements are fulfilled in accordance with Jet Aviation policies and procedures. This role provides shift leadership and supports the training and development of the Line Services team while also actively performing line service duties as part of the team. The Line & Ramp Lead is expected to lead by example, delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality service while helping maintain operational standards and supporting the overall success of the base.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of general aviation and corporate aircraft refueling and towing procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two to four years of relevant experience required, including at least two years as a Line Service Technician and/or in a training role; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, perform in varying weather conditions, and meet physical job requirements.
  • Must be able to obtain NATA Line Service certification, an MVOP within 30–60 days of hire, and an Airport ID Badge within 30 days of hire.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Capable of assuming leadership responsibilities in the supervisor’s absence.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily oversight of shift operations, including reviewing team timecards, assisting with schedule coordination, and monitoring overtime usage.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for shift communications and help implement management directives, operational priorities, and required team training.
  • Lead day-to-day flight line operations in accordance with established Line and Ramp Services procedures, including aircraft fueling, towing, hangar stacking, ramp parking, service equipment handling, and general facilities upkeep.
  • Promote and enforce compliance with all safety policies and procedures, providing direction to team members and supporting operational leadership in the Senior Manager’s absence.
  • Marshal aircraft during arrivals and departures using standard hand signals and safe operating practices.
  • Assist with aircraft and hangar cleaning activities as required to support operational readiness and service standards.
  • Represent Jet Aviation professionally and consistently, both internally and externally, in alignment with company values and expectations.
