About The Position

Beaver Street Food Co. is looking for a reliable and hardworking Line/Prep Cook to support our fast‑paced culinary team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the preparation of food items according to established recipes and quality standards. Your work directly supports the experience of every guest we serve.

Requirements

• Food Handler card (or ability to obtain one).
• 1+ year of previous experience as a line cook or similar role
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
• Commitment to working at home games and athletic events, including evenings, weekends and varying start times as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping and measuring.
• Assemble food items according to established recipes and specifications.
• Ensure all food products meet quality and presentation standards prior to serving.
• Follow proper food handling procedures and safety protocols to prevent foodborne illnesses.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workstation, including equipment and utensils.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff and Front of House staff to maintain a positive, professional, and productive work environment.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and chemical‑handling procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
