About The Position

A Line Operator works on a high-speed packing line, responsible for working with teammates to manage the output and quality of his/her line. This is a critical role in the organization and requires focus, hard work and a can-do attitude.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Able to communicate with all levels of employees.
Basic troubleshooting skills.
Basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
Ability to work well under pressure and stay organized.
Experience with Pallet Jacks, tape guns, tape machines, heat guns, labelers.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with Liquid filling Machines, cappers, conveyors, lot coders & shrink tunnels preferred.

Responsibilities

Load and unload materials, parts, or products manually or by mechanized means.
Inspects materials, products, and containers at each step of packaging process.
Labels containers, cartons, prepacks, and/or master shipper.
Wraps protective material around product.
Packs special arrangements or selections of product.
Sorts bundles or filled containers.
Assembles cartons, prepacks, master shippers and/or pallet boxes.
Clean packaging containers.
Transfer finished products around plant and warehouse using hand truck or pallet jack.
Deliver items to designated work areas for processing from the warehouse.
Capable of being assigned to different workstations as packing needs require.
Deliver processed units to storage or to the next stage or processing.
Packs products in containers.
Cleans around work areas, using broom, mop and Isopropyl Alcohol, and other cleaning agents.
Assist other packing workers in packing activities.
Must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation without posing a direct threat to the individual or others.
Maintains safe and clean working environment.
Follows CGMP's.
Works with integrity to produce a high-quality product according to the job manufacturing packet.
