About The Position
The Phosphate Line System Operator is responsible for overseeing and managing the phosphate line system, including chemical additions, maintenance, and training. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to coordinate tasks across multiple shifts, and a commitment to dependability and attendance. The operator will perform various duties to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the line.
Requirements
- Must have good analytical skills along with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have the ability to work well with others in coordinating multiple tasks involving several process steps and several work shifts.
- Must have a record of dependability and good attendance.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
- Proper titration of all tanks.
- Training of personnel to titrate tanks.
- Oversee appropriate chemical additions.
- Maintain ISO Preventative Maintenance records.
- Set up and monitor all vac-outs.
- Schedule and monitor weekend tank cleaning.
- Responsible for daily tank transfers and cleaning, including refill and heat up.
- Perform minor line maintenance.
- Responsible for chemical, titration, and glassware ordering and inventory.
- Maintain water softeners.
- Pull tank samples for Henkle.
- Help on line when needed.
