About The Position

This position has overall responsibility for the Line Maintenance organization, including creating and maintaining a culture of safety, compliance, and profitability. It provides strategic oversight of the department to develop sales opportunities by engaging current and prospective customers. This position also manages the P&L of the business unit daily, ensuring compliance and profitability. Travel is frequent to interface with employees and support sales or customer management initiatives. Additionally, this position will perform or make recommendations regarding hiring, scheduling, discipline, coaching, training, mentoring, and terminating employees. This position reports to the Vice President of Technical Operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 5 years technical experience with FAR 121 Airline, Part 145 Repair Station or foreign carrier
  • 5 years Managerial experience with FAR 121 Airline, Part 145 Repair Station or foreign carrier
  • Working knowledge of accounting and budgetary principles specifically with P&L statements
  • Working knowledge of FARs as they relate to FAA and EASA Part 121 or Part 145 requirements
  • Must be willing to be On-Call 24/7/365 in support of customer needs and operational requirements
  • Demonstrated business management skills including supervision, budget, customer interface
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven proficiency in MS Office products application
  • Airframe and Powerplant License

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous management in a line maintenance environment
