About The Position

Marmon Foodservice Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Line Lead to guide the daily operations of a production line, ensuring products are built safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves supporting team members, removing obstacles, and driving workflow improvements to enhance manufacturing performance and customer satisfaction. Requirements

  • Knowledge of basic manufacturing, assembly, or production processes.
  • Familiarity with safety practices, quality checks, and standard work instructions.
  • Ability to coach and guide team members with professionalism.
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using production documentation, checklists, or digital tools.
  • Ability to read work instructions and/or basic technical drawings.
  • Strong communication skills across various teams and shift partners.
  • Experience identifying process improvements or workflow enhancements.
  • 3-5 years Line Lead experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, guide, or coordinate the work of others.
  • Basic computer literacy (e.g., email, documentation, digital forms).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • LEAN and Continuous Improvement experience a plus.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the role (e.g., standing, lifting, or manual tasks).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations on the production lines to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals are met while adhering to company policies.
  • Coordinate work assignments, monitor progress, and adjust staffing or workflow as needed.
  • Train, mentor, and support team members to ensure consistent performance and skill development.
  • Conduct daily start‑up checks, verify readiness of equipment and materials, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Monitor product quality at each stage of production and partner with Quality teams to resolve deviations.
  • Track production output, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance to report equipment downtime and support timely problem resolution.
  • Communicate updates, shift changes, and performance expectations to team members and leadership.
  • Participate in Kaizen projects driving safety and productivity improvements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, audit, and tour ‑ready work environment.
