About The Position

Wasatch Labs is seeking a Line Lead to oversee the daily operations of the pack-out line. This role involves leading a team, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The Line Lead will be responsible for visual inspections, compliance with regulations, training team members, and identifying process improvements. This position operates within a dietary supplement production facility and may require shifts, weekends, and overtime.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a production or packaging environment, preferably in the dietary supplement, food, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to guide and motivate a team.
  • Strong understanding of GMPs, FDA regulations, and packaging standards.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the pack-out line, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
  • Assign tasks and monitor the performance of pack-out team members to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for pack-out line issues, escalating significant concerns to supervisors as needed.
  • Conduct visual inspections of finished goods to verify packaging, labeling, and lot coding meet GMP and company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and facility safety regulations throughout the pack-out process.
  • Document and report any quality issues or deviations promptly.
  • Train team members on pack-out procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and coaching to improve team performance and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline pack-out operations and enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to implement process improvements.
  • Verify the availability of necessary materials and supplies for daily operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of production, including counts, batch information, and downtime.
  • Ensure proper handling and operation of pack-out equipment.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to appropriate personnel.
  • Promote a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Support other production or quality-related tasks as directed by supervisors.
