About The Position

The Line Leader is responsible to monitor all activities associated with the production line in accordance with company policies, programs and standards. The Line Leader has the ability to direct their team’s workflow. The Line Leader has the authority to stop production when safety, quality or cost standards are not being met.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience working in food manufacturing required.
  • 1+ year of leadership experience required.
  • Maintains a continuous learning mindset and adapts quickly to new equipment, processes, and roles.
  • Demonstrates strong technical ability with a digital-first approach, embracing new technologies and accurately entering data.
  • Communicates clearly with all levels of the organization, follows instructions (written/oral/diagram form), and completes necessary documentation independently in English.
  • Pays close attention to detail, prioritizing product quality, safety, and accurate record-keeping.
  • Physically capable of meeting job requirements and consistently brings a positive, team-focused attitude to work.
  • Demonstrates adaptability, technical proficiency, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills while working independently or collaboratively to ensure effective and logical decision-making in diverse situations.
  • Demonstrates the physical capability to bend frequently and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), alongside proficiency in safely operating Powered Industrial Vehicles to support workplace operations.

Responsibilities

  • Champion safety by leading by example, ensuring adherence to procedures, conducting "Take 5" checks for non-routine tasks, and completing daily safety audits.
  • Coach and support team members, ensuring professional conduct, reporting violations or improvement opportunities, and assisting with training and communication.
  • Oversee production line activities and workflow, ensuring proper equipment setup, process centerline adherence, and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor, record, and report line data and key metrics, maintain accurate material usage records, and engage in process adjustments to uphold product quality.
  • Maintain proficiency in operating relevant systems (Infinity, SAP, Factory Talk), facilitate effective handovers, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills including forklift operation.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and regulated work environment by performing sanitation functions, assisting with safety compliance, and supporting production projects as directed.
  • Collaborate with the Glide Path Leader/Production Supervisor to coordinate production line duties and fulfill assigned tasks, maintaining teamwork and operational efficiency.
