About The Position

Colville Transport is seeking experienced, safety-minded CDL Drivers to join their team for the 2025 season in Fairbanks, AK. This role involves hauling heavy loads in challenging conditions, including mud and snow, on the terrains of Alaska. The Fairbanks division is part of Colville and offers a supportive team environment with opportunities to learn from seasoned drivers on the Haul Road. Requirements

5 + Years of experience as a line haul driver, or equivalent experience operating on ice roads, mountain terrain, and in severe and rapidly changing weather conditions.
Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tankers endorsements (Alaskan license preferred).
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to handle extreme weather conditions.
Clean driving record.
Ability to obtain a TWIX card.
Own steel-toe boots.
Registered with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

Haul Fuel Safely: Drive single and double trailer combinations, ensuring safe transport from Fairbanks to Prudhoe Bay.
Navigate Challenges: Maneuver through narrow passageways and tackle weather extremes.
Manage Loads: Oversee the loading/unloading process, handle paperwork, and ensure the safety of every trip.
Maintain Equipment: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance.
Performs other related duties as assigned to support business operations.
