Line & Grade Party Chief
About The Position
The Party Chief is responsible for all layout activities and ensures work is safe and accurate. The role requires a good understanding of SQP goals and collaboration with Project Leadership to identify improvement ideas. The Party Chief contributes to effective project management through daily observations and communication, interfaces daily with the client and project management to resolve tolerance conflicts and field constructability issues, and supports project safety by perpetuating the IIF culture. The position includes installing onsite layout, ensuring layout adheres to quality control requirements, directing and overseeing staff, maintaining a safe work environment, and participating in training and certifications. Responsibilities describe the general nature and level of the work and are not exhaustive.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and 6 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years as an Instrument Man II.
Responsibilities
- Install onsite layout.
- Provide layout that adheres to quality control requirements.
- Direct and oversee staff.
- Ensure a safe work environment.
- Participate in training and certifications.
