About The Position

Richelieu Foods, Inc. is a leading national private label and contract packing food manufacturer focused on frozen pizza. We have two manufacturing facilities located in IL, and WI. We provide products to many national retailers, wholesalers, distributors, club and mass stores, as well as industrial accounts including other food manufacturers. This position is based out of our Wheeling, IL location. The Line Feeder ensures seamless production operations by supplying materials to assembly lines. This role involves maintaining an inventory of necessary items and coordinating with production staff to keep the line running efficiently. Efficiency and attention to detail are crucial for line feeders, as proper alignment and positioning of items on the line maximize overall efficiency. The Line Feeder works closely with machine operators, assists in operating machinery, communicates with production supervisors about any issues, and helps avoid mechanical damage to products. Adherence to safety protocols is essential to ensure a safe working environment, and the role contributes to maintaining quality standards throughout the production process. Responsibilities include unloading boxes, stacking materials, and ensuring all necessary items are ready for assembly. Line feeders take care to avoid mechanical damage to products during handling and transportation, and maintain a clean and organized work area. Experience handling electric pallet jacks is required.

Requirements

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Proven experience as a Line Feeder, Production Worker, or in a similar role.

  • Experience handling electric pallet jacks.

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
