About The Position
Berry Hill Resort in South Boston, Virginia, is seeking both entry-level and experienced Line Cooks to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will prepare high-quality food in accordance with established recipes, production requirements, and presentation standards. This position also plays an important role in supporting daily kitchen operations, coordinating food preparation and service, and helping ensure the culinary team works efficiently and consistently. Requirements
- Line experience
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must report to scheduled shifts on time
- Follow company policies
- Have dependable transportation
Responsibilities
- Preparing food for restaurant, banquet, and special-event service
- Helping coordinate kitchen preparation and service during assigned shifts
- Providing support to kitchen team members as needed
- Maintaining consistent standards for food quality, taste, portioning, and presentation
- Monitoring food preparation to ensure timely and accurate service
- Ensuring proper food-handling, labeling, storage, and rotation practices
