About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, and contributing to an excellent dining experience for our patrons. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, and a commitment to food quality and safety.

Requirements

  • Ability to produce an excellent culinary and restaurant experience for patrons.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to two years of experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook
  • Experience with various cooking methods and procedures
  • Familiar with industry best practices

Nice To Haves

  • Certificate in Culinary Arts preferred

Responsibilities

  • Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
  • Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
  • Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
  • Maintains cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by adequately handling food and ensuring proper storage.
  • Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
  • Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
