About The Position

You will be responsible for in-depth knowledge of all menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and sanitation/safety information. You'll prepare a variety of food items using necessary kitchen equipment such as ovens, gas stoves, griddles, and broilers. You will need to plate all dishes in accordance with DAC guidelines, assuring that each item is cooked to the Chef and Guest's specifications before serving. You'll also complete station prep lists with directions from the Chef and maintain sufficient levels of food products to ensure a smooth service period.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the restaurant industry.
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
  • Ability to communicate clearly with management staff.
  • Ability to work well with colleagues.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
