Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring full-time Line Cooks to join our team at Morimoto Asia in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing dishes according to recipes and chef specifications. Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a prep cook or line cook
- Ability to prioritize and complete food orders with speed and precision
- Ability to follow procedures and take directions
- Basic math skills to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions
Responsibilities
- Prepare food according to established portion sizes and quality standards
- Follow department rules, policies, and procedures
- Make sure food reaches and stays at the proper temperatures
- Store food correctly and maintain the freshness and quality of menu items
- Package products according to the restaurant's specifications
- Keep your workstation, coolers, and kitchen equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and stocked
- Follow waste-control procedures and record food waste on the spoilage sheet
- Perform opening duties, closing duties, side work, and end-of-day inventory.
