About The Position

Join our team as a Line Cook in a dynamic airport restaurant environment! Are you a seasoned foodservice professional with a passion for high-volume and a stickler for food safety? We have an exciting opportunity for a Line Cook at one of the biggest airports in America, John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). If you thrive in a fast-paced food environment and are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role, we want to hear from you! At SSP America, our Line Cooks have the important role of receiving food orders, preparing delicious dishes for our guests, properly setting up the kitchen so every Expert has the product and tools easily accessible during their shift. Our Line Cooks love working in the Back of House.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience as a line cook in a professional food service environment preferred
  • Open work availability including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stay focused and organized in a high-volume, fast-paced back of house environment

Responsibilities

  • Receiving food orders
  • Preparing delicious dishes for our guests
  • Properly setting up the kitchen so every Expert has the product and tools easily accessible during their shift
