About The Position

Sibling Revelry Brewing, founded by a family passionate about great beer, is expanding its business by adding a kitchen and full menu. They are seeking a Line Cook to support the Head Chef in executing a quality dining experience from a new full menu.

  • Must be able to visually determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned and/or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
  • Must be able to dictate with co-workers, supervisors, and stakeholders using all means of communication including but not limited to, in-person, phone, and computer.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and stock workstations with appropriate supplies/tools.
  • Assist with stocking incoming inventory.
  • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with Head Chef and other kitchen employees.
  • Clean up station and appropriately manage leftover food.
  • Manage timing of food preparation to ensure food comes out simultaneously always paying close attention to quality.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
  • Comply with nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards and regulations always ensuring that food is received, stored, and prepared according to standards.
  • Assist with the transportation and storage of food and supplies.
  • May be involved in the planning, organization, and implementation of special events, specific projects, or program changes.
  • Employee may be asked to complete related duties other than those indicated above as assigned by their supervisor.
