About The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced, energetic, and team-oriented Line Cook for its rewarding team.

Requirements

  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, mornings, evenings.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Well developed and multi-tasking, organizational skills, and detailed oriented.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
  • Candidate must be dependable and reliable.
  • High school diploma and or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus, however, not required

Responsibilities

  • Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications
  • Executes service and production of food products for all/any areas of the kitchen
  • Recognize quality standards in fresh vegetables, fish, dairy, and meat products
  • Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, and all storage areas
  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the Kitchen Manager
  • Maintain assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition
  • Handle food in a manner that is consistent with local health department guidelines
  • Follow proper food handling techniques and coordinates the use of time, material and equipment to avoid waste and unnecessary expense
  • Maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene
  • Comply with department’s dress code
  • Follow safety regulations, reporting injuries or any unsafe conditions and work practices to the supervisor
  • Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned
