About The Position

LOGE <Location> is seeking a Line Cook for our LOGE Camps site in <city, state. >. This role involves preparing menu items from scratch ingredients with the kitchen team, ensuring the successful and timely execution of the menu. The Line Cook will maintain an understanding of all menu items and ingredients, assist guests with dietary or preparation questions, and develop prep and order specifications. Responsibilities also include maintaining inventory levels, ensuring the kitchen is properly stocked, and following safety and cleanliness standards. The role requires participation in cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the kitchen, assisting the team with standard kitchen duties, and having a working knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and deep cleaning. Additionally, the Line Cook will support catering efforts for special events and group meetings and perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef.

Requirements

  • 1+ years' previous culinary team experience.
  • Working knowledge of POS software.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Bending, reaching overhead, and squatting.
  • Lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing up to 40 lbs. without assistance.
  • Pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance.
  • Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
  • Remaining on your feet for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare menu items from scratch ingredients with the kitchen team.

  • Develop prep and order specifications derived from multiple recipes at an assigned kitchen station.
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure that the kitchen is properly stocked.
  • Follow safety and cleanliness standards and protocols for all assigned kitchen stations.
  • Participate in cleaning and sanitizing of all areas of the kitchen.
  • Jump in whenever needed to help the team with standard kitchen duties.
  • Have a working knowledge of how to operate and deep clean all kitchen equipment.
  • Support catering efforts for special events and group meetings.
  • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned by the Head Chef.
