About The Position

Sparrows Point Country Club, located in Dundalk, MD, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Line Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. The Line Cook assists the Chef and Kitchen Manager in preparing food for all culinary outlets on the property, including responsibilities related to kitchen sanitation, cleanliness, preparation, and timely delivery. This position requires strict adherence to all procedures and guidelines established by the Food Service and Safety Department. Our team is committed to maintaining strong safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both associates and guests, allowing you to focus on delivering an exceptional dining experience and fostering a positive team atmosphere.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of experience in a fine dining environment
• Experience maintaining safe working conditions
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Must be dependable
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to follow direction

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for quality of all products served
• Assist Chef/Kitchen Manager with setup and preparation of food items for all outlets
• Follow standard recipes accurately when preparing assigned items
• Assist with monthly food and supplies inventory
• Properly use and maintain kitchen equipment
• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties for food preparation and storage areas as directed
• Help distribute food and supplies across all outlets
• Clean food production, holding, and serving equipment as needed
• Assist with receiving and storing products
• Maintain full compliance with Department of Health regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned
