About The Position
Chili’s Kitchen, or “Heart of House,” Team Members are responsible for setting the pace for a great shift and providing dependable, fast service. The Line Cook prepares food by learning and following recipe procedures, keeps the kitchen clean and safe, and helps ensure food orders flow continuously from the kitchen. The role contributes to a safe and welcoming environment and requires effective communication with other Team Members.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
