The Line Cook position operates within a professional, fast-paced, scratch kitchen, often with an open-kitchen layout visible from the dining room. This role demands high expectations for food presentation and execution, strong communication, and teamwork with other staff members, including assemblers, expos, and management. The Line Cook is responsible for managing ticket orders for proteins, ensuring proper food temperatures, adhering to company specifications, maintaining a clean station and workspace, and following proper sanitation protocols. Responsibilities also include performing opening and closing cleaning duties.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age to operate kitchen equipment
  • Experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment including but not limited to knives, slicer, mixer, stoves, and ovens
  • Flexible to work a variety of shifts

  • 1 year previous kitchen / culinary / chef experience
