About The Position

Silver Creek Valley Country Club in San Jose, CA is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a seasonal Part-Time PM Line Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. This is a seasonal position with an expected duration of six months or less.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Average knowledge of industrial equipment including range, ovens, slicer, deep fryer and grill.
  • 2-3 years line experience a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares food using recipes and menu items created by the Head Chef and helps keep the kitchen running smoothly.
  • Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations.
  • Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks.
  • Plating prepared foods based on senior chef’s guidance.
  • Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time.
  • Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts.
  • Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations.
