About The Position

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to meet quality and presentation standards, ensuring consistency in every dish served. This role involves setting up and stocking stations with necessary supplies for the shift, ensuring all items are readily available for efficient cooking. The Line Cook must ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food. Additionally, they will assist in inventory management, including rotating stock and notifying management of any low inventory items. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all areas are sanitary and ready for use at all times, is also a key part of the role. The Line Cook will work closely with other kitchen staff and team members to ensure smooth operations and timely food service.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions effectively
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with physical tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the workday
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion
  • Committed to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
