About The Position

A seasonal, part-time Line Cook job in Woodinville, WA is available at Chateau Ste. Michelle. As a Line Cook, you will prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and set up stations for menu. The Line Cook’s duties will consist of assisting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with their daily tasks. This is a seasonal, part-time hourly role that is eligible for tips. This seasonal opportunity generally runs from May through October, depending on business needs. This role requires availability in the evenings and on weekends to support our Summer Concert Series.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or over with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Food Handler’s Permit required.
  • Basic prep, knife, and baking skills.
  • Ability to work well with limited supervision.
  • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous cooking experience in a restaurant, culinary school, or catering preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
  • Stock inventory appropriately.
  • Ensure all dishes are delivered together, promptly, and with consistent high quality.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations as well as safety standards.
  • Clean and assist with dishwashing, as needed.
