Requirements

Prior experience as a Line Cook, preferably in a high-volume or upscale restaurant
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
Understanding of food safety and sanitation standard
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to follow recipes and execute consistently
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand and work for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive kitchen tasks
Ability to safely use kitchen equipment, tools, and knives

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specifications, and presentation standards
Execute food production in a timely manner during service periods
Maintain consistency in quality, portioning, and plating of all dishes
Set up and maintain assigned workstation with proper mise en place
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment
Assist with prep work, inventory organization, and storage as needed
Communicate effectively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth service
Perform quality checks on dishes before they are served
Support team members and contribute to a positive kitchen environment
