About The Position

O+O Events is seeking a talented Line Cook to join our growing culinary team. From weddings and chef tastings to corporate dinners and private celebrations, our team creates memorable dining experiences using the same chef-driven philosophy that has made Olive + Oak and the O+O Hospitality Group one of St. Louis's most respected hospitality companies. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of professional kitchen experience preferred
  • Strong knife skills and comfort working multiple stations
  • Experience in scratch kitchens preferred
  • Reliable, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A team-first attitude and genuine passion for great food
  • Desire to learn, grow, and develop your culinary career

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute dishes for weddings, private dinners, cocktail receptions, brunches, and special events
  • Work a variety of stations including grill, sauté, pantry, and fry
  • Execute menus according to event specifications and banquet event orders (BEOs)
  • Assist with tastings, prep production, and event service
  • Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful, team-oriented kitchen culture
