The Bradbury Cafe is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and hospitality-driven Line Cook to join our culinary team in downtown Charlottesville. We pride ourselves on consistent attention to detail, exceptional food, and great service. Requirements

• Consistent availability Monday through Sunday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
• Highly reliable and committed to showing up on time daily.
• Basic understanding of kitchen operations, cooking techniques, and safety standards.
• Ability to stand for long periods and safely lift up to 40 pounds.
• Organized, detail-oriented, energetic, and a natural problem solver with an innate desire to help others.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing a fresh, scratch-made breakfast and lunch menu, including frittatas, brick oven pizzas, and artisan sandwiches.
• Maintain proficiency in cooking techniques, handle knife work skillfully, and follow house recipes accurately.
• Keep your station clean, safe, and fully aligned with food health regulations and kitchen sanitation standards.
• Foster a positive climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers.
• Bring energy and passion to ensure guests have exceptional culinary experiences.
