Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of cooking or line cook experience
  • Working knowledge of food preparation techniques, sanitation standards, and kitchen operations
  • Understanding of quality, presentation, and food cost control

Responsibilities

  • Prepare all food items in a sanitary, timely, and consistent manner
  • Follow established recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards
  • Execute proper plate presentation and garnish setups for all dishes
  • Handle, store, label, and rotate food products according to safety standards
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned workstations
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen leadership and team members
  • Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned by the Sous Chef or Manager
