About The Position
We're hiring Line Cooks as we gear up for patio season at The Train Shed at Union Station! This is a fast-paced kitchen, so we're looking for someone who can take direction, stay cool under pressure, and work well with a team.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a full service kitchen or as a line cook
- Ability to work under pressure, maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with co-workers and management
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Commitment to upholding all standards & procedures to provide an excellent product and experience for our guests
- Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to high standards of cleanliness and food quality
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items correctly with speed and attention to detail
- Ensure all dishes meet presentation, portion, and quality standards
- Stock your station and help keep kitchen clean
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures, keeping health standards top of mind
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
