About The Position

Noodle Express is hiring a Line Cook for our Airway Heights restaurant. We are a fast-casual Asian fusion restaurant serving fresh noodle bowls, rice bowls, appetizers, and other guest favorites. Our kitchen moves quickly, but no one succeeds alone. We communicate, help each other, and have fun. This cooking job stands out because our kitchen team participates in the tip pool.

Requirements

• Previous Line Cook, Prep Cook, Restaurant Cook, fast-food, or kitchen experience is helpful
• Dependability and a positive, team-focused attitude
• The ability to work quickly while maintaining quality and accuracy
• Attention to food safety, cleanliness, portioning, and presentation
• Clear communication with cooks, Shift Leaders, and front-counter team members
• A willingness to learn our recipes and cooking procedures
• A commitment to providing great customer service—even from behind the line
• The ability to safely perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Noodle Express recipes and standards
• Work efficiently on the cooking line during busy lunch and dinner shifts
• Prepare noodles, rice, proteins, vegetables, sauces, and appetizers
• Read order tickets and prepare hot, fresh, accurate meals
• Complete food-preparation and ingredient-prep assignments
• Keep your station clean, stocked, safe, and organized
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures
• Communicate with the kitchen and cashier teams
• Help with opening, closing, cleaning, and restocking duties
• Jump in wherever the team needs help
