About The Position

We are looking for someone to join our team as a line cook at Alma. Alma is a nationally recognized fine dining restaurant owned by James Beard award winning chef Alex Roberts. We serve nourishing food inspired by the wonderful local farmers and suppliers that we work with. Our commitment and care in our food and hospitality make us one of the most popular restaurants in Minneapolis. We at Alma work hard to serve both our guests and our staff. We have a world-class facility and a long history of making people happy with delicious food and genuine hospitality. Our line cooks prepare all menu items, maintain a clean and organized station, and work as a team to provide exceptional meals and hospitality to our guests. Open availability is a must. Requirements

Experience with working in a professional kitchen
Consistent time management and organizational skills
Attention to detail, including an ability to maintain a clean and safe station
A positive attitude
Team player, able and willing to work in a collaborative restaurant and help other staff when they need it
The desire to learn
A curious and resilient approach to work
Physical stamina to lift 50lbs minimum and work 8-10 hour shifts on your feet
Weekend availability
Open availability is a must
