About The Position

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant standards. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and adherence to food safety guidelines while working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Nice To Haves

  • ServSafe certification or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked workstation.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Ensure consistent portioning, plating, and presentation of dishes.
  • Assist with prep work and ingredient stocking as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth service.
  • Handle and store ingredients properly to prevent waste.
  • Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries.
  • Communicate with team members and leadership to ensure efficient operations.
  • Follow instructions from the Executive Chef and Sous Chef regarding food preparation and kitchen policies.
