About The Position
Line Cooks, referred to at Chili’s as Heart of House Team Members, help set the pace for a great shift by providing dependable, fast service. The role prepares food according to company recipes, keeps the kitchen clean and safe, communicates ticket times, and helps ensure food orders continue flowing from the kitchen. Chili’s seeks team members who take pride in teamwork and contribute to a friendly, welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
