About The Position

Swiss Chalet is hiring a Line Cook at our location! Since our doors first opened in 1954, families have been coming back to Swiss Chalet generation after generation. We are looking for individuals that are passionate about hospitality, food, training and are people focused. This candidate not only understands the fundamentals of daily restaurant operations but also is a proven leader with training in their DNA.

• Willing to help with prep and dishes as needed

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Line Cook
• Food Safety certified or willing to obtain within 3 months

Responsibilities

• Complete line checks to ensure that enough product is prepared and kept ready for service
• Ensure the quality of food is outstanding each and every time
• Plate food to specifications to create a perfect dining experience
• Deliver the Perfect Guest Experience by ensuring all standards are being executed and exceeded based on Swiss Chalet's established specifications
• Demonstrate behaviours consistent with Recipe's principles
• Keep the work area, utensils and production equipment clean and sanitized at all times
• Perform all opening, closing and cleaning tasks as instructed
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures outlined in the Health and Safety Program
• Follow safe food handling procedures at all times
