About The Position
Line Cooks, known at Chili’s as Heart of House Team Members, help set the pace for each shift by providing dependable, fast service. The role focuses on preparing food according to Chili’s recipe procedures, keeping food orders moving continuously from the kitchen, and contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The position is based at the Alexandria Chili’s location. Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
