About The Position

Centro Mexican Kitchen is looking for a talented and energetic Line Cook to join their team. Line Cooks are responsible for preparing delicious food with craft and intention, in addition to other heart of house duties such as prep, set-up, safety, cleaning, and breakdown. They will also assist the Chefs and the HOH team. The kitchen crew is the foundation to providing a memorable guest experience and creating a positive team environment throughout the restaurant. Candidates should be eager to learn, adaptable, and comfortable in a high volume kitchen, working with hot equipment, knives, slicers, etc. This role is ideal for someone interested in working within a fun, fast-paced environment and growing with the team.

Requirements

  • 1 Year Experience in a Professional Kitchen
  • Full-availability (nights & weekends)
  • Comfortable working with hot equipment, knives, slicers, etc.
  • Eager to learn
  • Adaptable

Responsibilities

  • Preparing delicious food with craft and intention
  • Performing other heart of house duties (prep, set-up, safety, cleaning, breakdown)

  • Maintaining clean and spotless, well run and proud kitchens
