About The Position

The Line Cook at The Foundry Room is responsible for executing high-quality dishes with consistency, speed, and attention to detail. This role is ideal for a cook who takes pride in their craft, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, and understands that every plate contributes to the overall guest experience.

Requirements

  • Previous line cook or kitchen experience in a full-service or elevated dining environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment.
  • Strong sense of urgency, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain consistency and quality during all service periods.
  • Set up and break down assigned stations efficiently before and after service.
  • Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
  • Communicate clearly with chefs and kitchen teammates to support smooth service flow.
  • Monitor food quality and freshness, reporting any issues to kitchen leadership.
  • Assist with prep work, stocking, and organization to keep the kitchen running efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation.
  • Support other kitchen stations as needed during service.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel.
