The Line Cook at The Reserve at East Longmeadow is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a restaurant-style dining atmosphere. This role involves working closely with the Culinary Services Director and/or Executive Director to ensure resident satisfaction with food and dining programs. The Line Cook will also assist with the supervision of culinary staff, preparation and execution of dining enhancement programs, and maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment. This position is responsible for opening and/or closing the kitchen, adhering to cleaning schedules, and ensuring all food is received, stored, and prepared according to company standards. The Line Cook will estimate food and supply needs, participate in preparing and cooking meals according to recipes and menus, and document food and equipment temperatures. Additionally, they will ensure snacks and beverages are available, maintain kitchen cleanliness, assist with food and supply transportation and storage, and help with special events, banquets, and theme meals.
