About The Position

Hotel Thaynes Park City, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is seeking a Line Cook to join their team. This role involves preparing menu items according to recipes, maintaining food and beverage quality standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The Line Cook will also be responsible for monthly inventories, organizing prep items, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the work area, and proper storage of food items according to health department and hotel requirements.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
1-2 years of kitchen experience
Food service permit as required by local or state government agency/ food service and/or certification required by franchise
Leadership and customer service skills
Culinary ability; food and event oriented
Planning and organizational ability

Nice To Haves

Fluency in Spanish

Responsibilities

Cook items following a detailed recipe
Maintains standards of food and beverage quality and guest services; resolves guest complaints.
Responsible for monthly inventories and initiates programs to reduces breakage and loss in glassware and silverware.
Organize all of the various prep items needed from different areas to ensure that all items are in place and ready for service.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
Restock items that were depleted during the shift and make sure to maintain proper storage procedures specified by Health Department and Hotel requirements.
