About The Position
Burnt Store Marina CC’s kitchen team is looking for an experienced cook to join its back of house team. Minimum 1 year of cooking experience necessary. Must have a flexible schedule, be a team player and have a great attitude. Searching for candidates who are looking to make a home in a fast pace, ever changing kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
- Collects food and beverage products and small wares required for item preparation
- Handles assigned stations on the line and helps run service
- Operates food production equipment according to manufacturers' instructions
- Assists in plating food items for members and guests
- Notifies Chef in advance of expected product shortages
- Handles leftover food items as instructed by the Chef
- Makes sure all items are wrapped, dated, labeled, and stored properly
- Returns soiled food preparation utensils and small wares to the proper areas
- Cleans preparation and serving equipment/ line with the team
- Cleans assigned workstation areas with the team
- Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Keeps walk-ins clean and organized and up to code
- Sets-up plating line and assists with plating duties
- Assists with preparation of other food products in any other area of the kitchen as needed
- Performs other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Chef
- Works well with others
