About The Position

Established in March 2012, The Dirty Buffalo brings the taste of Western New York to Hampton Roads! We are a family-owned, locally operated restaurant that focuses on delivering great wings and other Northern comfort food in a casual, family-friendly environment. We are also growing! We opened our first franchise in 2021 and plan to continue to expand throughout the Southeast. Requirements

• Love a clean, neat and organized work environment.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen.
• Preference for working on a team, helping out peers, and jumping in where needed (e.g., taking out trash, mopping floors).
• Take your job seriously and avoid unscheduled absences or lateness.
• Hustle, stay busy, and keep moving.
• Excited to learn something new and be part of something good.
• Stand up and move for most, if not all, of your shift.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Understand and communicate in the predominant language of our guests.

Responsibilities

• Operate, clean and maintain a commercial dishwasher and other kitchen equipment.
• Stay organized, put things back where they belong, and keep cleaning throughout your shift.
• Maintain correct sanitation concentrations and heat levels to ensure we keep our guests safe.
• Communicate effectively and keep yourself and everyone else on task.
• Show up on time, in uniform, ready to work every day.
• Take and receive direction and help others when they fall behind.
• Address and rectify any issues that arise.
