About The Position
Tucker's Italian is hiring one full time (or two part time) cooks. Tucker's bakes all bread in house, makes handmade pasta, cures meats, and uses a wood-fired grill. We are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu is traditional southern Italian cooking, not meant to be fancy. This is a scratch kitchen. The menu here is more pasta heavy.
Requirements
- Knife skills are definitely a plus
- Strong sautee skills will be much appreciated
Responsibilities
- Prepping food for service
- Long-term projects such as curing and smoking meats
- Small-item butchering
- Working the line during one or more of the shifts
- Deep cleans by day
